English football authorities are deeply concerned by the prospect of antisemitic chants and abuse at this summer's European Championships in Poland and the Ukraine.

During an anti-discrimination summit hosted by Prime Minister David Cameron at Downing Street on Wednesday, leading figures in football discussed their fears that far-right elements might disrupt the tournament, both during matches and when fans from around Europe travel to cities in the two countries.

Mr Cameron promised to "crush" racism within the British game and make sport more inclusive. The panel is expected to report on recommendations to tackle discrimination within three months.

Among those attending the summit were FA chairman David Bernstein, chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism John Mann MP, and Alex Goldberg, founder of the FA's Faith In Football initiative.
