What not to wear at school

Modest dress codes are not only a matter for mothers in Charedi schools. Pardes House Primary School in London underlined that it applies to fathers too in a recently issued notice.

While mums should avoid skirts with slits and ones that are so long that they trail along the ground - according to rabbinic guidelines - dads should not appear in jeans or denim. They should also wear shirts with collars (polos permitted but not t-shirts).
