Tracy-Ann Oberman is to star in a new production of Noel Coward's Present Laughter, at Chichester Festival Theatre.

The actress - and former JC columnist - had a huge success at Chichester last year, when she starred as Golde in Fiddler on the Roof. Now she is to join Rufus Hound in the comedy - which is seen as Coward's most autobiographical play. Oberman will play Monica.

Always wanted to tackle a Noel Coward. See you on the green @RufusHound ❤️ https://t.co/efMhlsu9LH

The new season will also feature Matt Lucas, who is making his Chichester debut in a new production of Me and My Girl. The comedian will appear alongside Caroline Quentin in the musical.

Present Laughter will run from April 20 to May 12, with Me and My Girl running over the summer, from July 2 to August 25.
