Stephen Franklin has struck again.
The Zionist Federation member has proved relentless in his endeavour to hold the BBC to account. In recent months he has had a complaint upheld against the Today programme and forced the BBC to change a website entry on Hamas.
Now the BBC's head of editorial complaints has accepted his criticism of a remark made by Louis Theroux in a programme broadcast earlier this year which referred to a West Bank settlement as "land that the international community, the US included, viewed as illegal".
Although the US rejects the "legitimacy" of Israeli settlements, the BBC agreed that this was not the same as saying that they were "illegal".
