Still in love with Eurovision

articlemain

Presenter Nigella Lawson is not the only Jewish interest in this year's Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday. The British hope Still In Love With You, sung by Electro Velvet, was written by David Mindel (pictured).

It's a case of sixth time lucky for the songwriter who lives in the south of France. In the 1970s and '80s he co-wrote five songs in competitions to choose Britain's Eurovision entry, twice coming runner-up.

But he decided to have one more go at Eurovision when he read about a contest to find this year's entry in SongLink, a website run by David Stark.

"He's finally going there after all these years," said Mr Stark, "He's really chuffed."

The song's publisher is Chelsea Music's Eddie Levy.
