Roman Abramovich has been celebrating Pesach in the desert. But in more style than when our ancestors made their departure from Egypt.
The Chelsea owner, who rented an entire floor of Eilat’s Royal Beach Hotel for Pesach in 2009, went one better this year. He has booked all 111 rooms of the Beresheet Hotel in the Negev, where he, his partner, fashion designer Darya Zhukova, and their children Aaron and Leah will host friends over the festival.
Opened in 2011, the Isrotel hotel commands a stunning view over the 500-metre deep Ramon Crater, the world’s largest crater, a product of natural erosion.
