Harrison Ford rescued a woman whose car drifted off the motorway

articlemain

Harrison Ford has been praised for saving a woman whose car rolled off the motorway in California.

The Indiana Jones star became a real-life hero yesterday when the woman, who was driving in front of him, lost control of her car. The car drifted into the central reservation and hit a tree, according to reports, and Mr Ford followed her, pulling her from the car and waiting with her until an ambulance arrived.

The woman escaped with minor injuries.

Local police officer Matt Alonzo said: "He [Ford] acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived."
