A woman's place is in the home

This is one of those “I don’t believe it!” moments and, for a while, I didn’t.

Gerald Scarfe’s now notorious Sunday Times cartoon, showing Bibi Netanyahu bricking Palestinians into a wall with blood for mortar, sparked a massive furore. So it was natural for the Orthodox weekly Hamodia to cover the story.

Hamodia is a very pious publication and does not permit the face of a woman to appear in its pages.
But when I read online that it had reprinted the Scarfe cartoon with the features of the female Palestinians erased, I thought it must be a premature Purim joke.

Until I picked up a copy and saw for myself.
