Rafi Neumann gets his travel site off to a flyer

articlemain

Do you know that Gol Airlines flies in Brazil and Hainan Airlines flies in China? Manchester's Rafi Neumann does.

The internet entrepreneur has created TravelSpec, an online flight price-comparison service which allows users to search all scheduled flights worldwide. The site is not affiliated to any particular airline. Mr Neumann, 27, tells People: "The travel industry is a saturated market which can make it very confusing when buying flights. As a keen traveller, I was tired of feeling duped, so I was determined to provide people with reliable, accurate information, allowing them to make the best choice for their travel needs."

Based in Salford, Mr Neumann launched the site at the end of last year. He previously worked part-time for a flight-mapping website while studying accounting and finance at Manchester Metropolitan University.

He plans to expand TravelSpec to include alternative methods of transport, in addition to hotels.
