When LA-based actor and producer Ethan Brosowsky tuned in to watch the Nagano Olympics in 1998, he became enthralled with a sport he knew almost nothing about - curling. So much so that he decided to make a documentary about the US men's curling team.

He has been travelling across the States since 2006, following the team to world cup events and other matches, culminating in the recent Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

Now, with 120 hours of video, Mr Brosowsky, 29, who says he loves to curl, hopes to make the footage into a feature-length film.

He tells People: "I became fascinated, intrigued; it's addictive, hypnotic."

He adds: "I wanted to see what it takes to be an Olympic curler." He says he was surprised and impressed by how little ego the curlers possessed."
