Adrienne Cline says mazeltov with jewellery

articlemain

Searching for the perfect Yomtov gift? Former jewellery PR Adrienne Cline is ready to help. The South African-born 29-year-old has set up Mazelbox, an online store selling unique jewellery and gifts.

Miss Cline has previously worked for Bond Street jewellers including Chatila, Moussaieff and Stephen Webster. She tells People: "I was at Stephen Webster running the PR department for a few years when I decided that I had to start my own business. I always had it in me and always knew my path would take me there eventually.

"I had found that the gifts out there were a bit boring. There was a time when I was going to lots of weddings and could never really find anything that I connected with in the Jewish shops." She spent time travelling and sourcing products from Israel, India, South Africa and elsewhere. "There is a lot of Israeli influence in the pieces. Every piece of jewellery has something on it to represent good luck or longevity."

Launched in February, her products - which are stocked at The Jewish Museum, London, among others - have already been featured in Vogue. Miss Cline moved to the UK from Cape Town 11 years ago to study PR and Marketing at Leeds University. She says: "Consumers are far more conscious of their finances and want to know they are getting quality at good value. Mazelbox caters to the needs of its customers whilst keeping up with the latest fashion trends."
