Gaza terrorists send two more rockets into Israel

articlemain

Two more Grad rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory on Wednesday evening.

One hit the entrance the Southern city of Ashkelon, the other an open area in the Lakhish region, not far from the border town of Sderot.

A Lakhist resident told Ynet that the rockets were frightening but that many residents did not have bomb shelters. "We have nowhere to go," she said.

In response IDF aircraft targeted two terror activity sites in the northern Gaza Strip. They also struck a smuggling tunnel in southern Gaza.

A spokesman for the IDF said that Israel held Hamas responsible and added that they would "not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers".

"We will respond with determination to any attempt to use terror against the State of Israel."

More than 350 mortars have been fired across the border since the beginning of the year. A woman was injured on Monday by a Kassam rocket.
