Frum glasses so men can't stare at immodest women

articlemain

The Charedi community has long been known for taking a different look at the mainstream world, and now it appears they might actually be using a different lens.

According to reports in the Israeli media, blurred glasses are the latest trend among Charedi men in Israel, who are using them to prevent them accidentally looking at skimpily dressed women inappropriately.

The glasses, which will set the wearer back around £20, come with a sticker on that makes them poorly focused when looking anywhere but the immediate space around.

The wearer can therefore walk around safely, but without the risk of an immodest view.

The glasses are on sale in Israel. Those who already suffer from weak eyesight can purchase stickers to put on their own glasses, so as not to miss out on the new fad.
