Here are the star performers from Matchday 10 of the MGBSFL.

articlemain

1. LEE FEGAN (Temple Fortune A) - "brilliant in goal, pulled out the bag three fantastic saves" in a clean sheet against promotion-chasing Los Blancos

2. SAMMY LEIBERT (Bayern Mincha) - "an outstanding performance at full-back over 90 minutes, having the Oakwood winger in his pocket"

3. BEN HARRIS (Camden Park) - "first game in three months, bright, positive and shone through the the game"

4. NICK BARNETT (ML Lions B) - "superb and solid performance in the middle, controlled the game together with Adam Abadi and got rewarded for his efforts with a lovely strike to win the game"

5. SIMEON COHEN (Straw Hat Pirates) - "led the backline like the experienced leader that he is. Read the game well, put some outstanding balls towards their goal, and worked well with his partner" against Faithfold

6. ANTHONY BEILIN (Temple Fortune B) - "with a baby due any minute, Ant was touch and go, right up until kick-off, as to whether he would be available. With no sign of a morning arrival, Beilin laced up and was man-of-the-match by a distance. The Scouser covered every blade of grass, was instrumental in our defensive play and was the foundation of all our good work going forwards"

7. SAM HAMMERTON (ML Lions White) - "scored a hat-trick on his debut and at only 17-years-old, he’s showing signs of becoming a great player"

8. ADAM ABADI (ML Lions B) - "top quality performance in the holding midfield role, controlled the game with Nick Barnett, breaking up the play whilst also creating problems for the opposition"

9. CRAIG EDWARDS (Scrabble FC) - "a real handful as the target man up front and a hat-trick"

10. ADAM ELLIS (Bayern Mincha) - "three goals for him to take him into 14 I believe for the season. He was virtually unplayable and at times even dropped deeper to put in a defensive shift". Also described as "a once in a generation talent" by Oakwood boss Jason Stein

11. MOSES SEITLER (Hendon United SC) - "fast, skilful, direct and delight for the team to have him back in the squad this week. Arguably one of the most talented in the league"

STAR MAN: Moses Seitler (Hendon United SC)

MANAGER: Sam Marchant (ML Lions Blue)
