    PETER MORRISON TROPHY SEMI-FINAL

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A 1 MACCABI LONDON LIONS WHITE 5

Lions White eased into the final of the Peter Morrison Trophy, where they will play Haroldeans from Liverpool in London on May 6, after over-powering holders North London Raiders.

The Lions forged ahead via an own goal after great dazzling footwork by skipper Arnold inside the NLR box. Austin Lipman doubled the lead with a stunning 35-yard free-kick before the former Arsenal man made it 3-0 with a back-post header from Arnold corner.

A deadly double from Kiki Levin added the gloss. MLL's fourth saw the youngster finished off superb team move after good work from Jack Mattey and Levin added another finish killing off the game.

MLL joint-manager Will Beresford told JC Sport: "A special mention to Max Kyte, who had to be carried off after 15 minutes after a nasty collision to his knee. We wish him well and a speedy recovery."

DC Prediction: NLR 1 Lions 2

    DIVISION TWO

    CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI 4 FAITHFOLD B 1

Two goals from Jordan Grant saw Catford & Bromley come from a goal down to beat cup finalists Faithfold B.

Grant was "the best player on the pitch," according to his manager - scoring two goals and Jeff Gotch came off bench at 1-0 down and got two assists and a goal for his troubles.

Catford player-manager Jeff Gotch told JC Sport: "It was a convincing win today and nothing more than we deserved. We fell behind early to a sloppy goal but the boys responded and we ran out comfable winners, and in all honesty could have been a lot more."

DC Prediction: CABMA 2 Faithfold 3
