JC GOAL OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS

- ISAAC VIRCHIS (Mill Hill Dons) - a 35-yard screamer against Raiders. Nestled beautifully in the top corner, leaving the opposition goalkeeper with absolutely no chance

- JOSH COHEN (NL Galaxy) - a superb team goal with all 11 players on the pitch touching the ball. At least a 25-pass goal worked from left to right before some excellent one-touch passing ended up with Cohen beating his man and smashing home with his left in the far corner

- DAVID DINKIN (ML Lions) - a move which started in the defence, the ball was switched out to the left side to Charlie Cohen, then playing it to James Gold who whipped in a ball to the edge of the box and the arriving Dinkin performed a left-foot volley rifling the ball into the bottom right hand corner. A superb team goal with a great finish

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS

- RAY ABRAHAMS (Scrabble FC A) -  “The Galaxy manager’s pre-match comments without doubt came back to haunt him, as they did not manage to put our goal difference into orbit and after saying five would be a disappointment, we kept it to exactly that!"

- MITCH YOUNG (FC TEAM) - "Their goals could have been easily avoided, and in truth we never got our strikers in the game. The positive is that at full strength I believe we will beat them"

REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 4 FAITHFOLD DOC MM A 1

Division One leaders Redbridge A sent top-flight Faithfold tumbling out of the League Cup, courtesy of goals from top-scorer Nate Kashket, Sam Sollosi, David Fialka and James Berkley.

Faithfold's consolation came through new arrival Daniel Garfinkle.

Jubilant RJC boss Sam Rank, who welcomed back striker Dean Nyman following a sabbatical, told JC Sport: "Our objective this season is of course to win Division One title, but I challenged the boys to show that we are Premier Division quality and they did not disappoint."

MACCABI LONDON LIONS 5 LOS CAMDEN A 2

Two more goals from Reiss Mogilner saw Maccabi London Lions put a big dent in Los Camden's title hopes, running out 5-2 victors in a classy display at Rowley Lane. Benji Weinberger, David Dinkin and Michael Kenley secured Lions' second league win.

Lions joint-manager Sam Marchant told JC Sport: "“We showed today what we are capable of really. Los Camden A have been playing well this season and getting results, so we knew it would be tough today. However, the composure and work the boys put in today meant we could win the game and not face too many problems."

Rob Hershkorn accounted for both the Camden goals. Boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "'I'm extremely upset at the resul. With players missing to injury and holiday it was always going to be an uphill battle and I am proud with many of the performances I saw today."

A delighted Lewis told JC Sport: "We were in cruise control from the off - it was a matter of how many today. We’re building up some momentum now and will be looking to go into the Xmas break with yet another win against Oakwood."

Further strikes from Jack Joseph and Leor Harel sealed the win.

Faithfold's Doron Shooter told JC Sport: "Fortune gave a good account of themselves and did their best to disrupt our play. We rode a couple of moments where they threatened to come into the came but all in all we dominated throughout and played some excellent football at times, scoring some cracking team goals.

Gab Stone claimed Fortune's consolation and manager Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a difficult morning; for the first 25 minutes we looked good and then lost three players to injuries and other commitments, and we struggled to cope in spells in the second half."

FC TEAM 2 HERTSWOOD VALE 5

Another JAMES MILLET (3) master-class saw Hertswood Vale took a major step towards the title with a five-star win FC Team at Hertswood.

Jordan Harris added the gloss for Vale, with Eddie Sternberg and Josh Morris replying for Team.

Vale joint-manager Jacob Emanuel told JC Sport: "We knew all about FC Team’s attacking quality coming into this game, but we turned up and put in a solid offensive performance ourselves, whilst our defence and midfield was strong throughout, quelling most of what FC Team had to throw at us."

FC Team player-manager Mitch Young described his side's performance as "dreadful". He told JC Sport: "It didn't help we were missing a number of key players. However, their goals could have been easily avoided, and in truth we neveer got our strikers in the game. The positive is that at full strength I believe we will beat them."

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS MASTERS 1 MILL HILL DONS 3

Mill Hill Dons rallied from a goal down to beat Raiders Masters, thanks to strikes from Jamie Nagioff, Sam Stead and a goal of the week contender from Isaac Virchis.

Mill Hill Dons assistant-manager Jamie Nagioff told JC Sport: "I'm absolutely delighted with the boys' attitude today, and the intensity with which we played. It's no secret that we have massively under-performed in several games this season, so it's a fantastic feeling to be playing much better now and we're finally on a good run of form."

Michael Field had put Raiders ahead from the penalty spot and boss James Cartmell told JC Sport: "It was a rather disappointing and flat performance."
