Danny Caro's Team of the Week: May 7

Here are my star performers from Matchday 32 of the season.

articlemain

1. JAKE DOFFMAN (NL Raiders A) - "made a couple of good stops in the first half and a special save late in the second half to keep his deserved clean sheet"

2. JONO ROCHWERGER (NL Raiders A) - "man of the match performance from NLR’s super Aussie. Kept Toby Levy quiet all game and never put a foot wrong. Final game for the club and what a way to bow out on his birthday weekend"

3. DAVID COHEN (NL Raiders A) - "tremendous disciplined performance from DC. Worked tirelessly up and down the left-hand side and nullified the threat of Saul Shapiro"

4. DAVID RHODES (NL Raiders A) - "Captain fantastic. Lead the team by example and kept his perfect clean sheet record alongside Blochy"

5. AVI KORMAN (Hendon Utd SC A) - "fabulous midfield performance full of energy and held upper hand in key battle against the Sollossis"

6. JORDAN NATHAN (NL Raiders A) - "came off the bench and within minutes, scored a rabona from outside the box into the top corner that would be considered one of the greatest finishes seen at any level of football. If Messi had scored it, it would be spoken about for years to come"

7. NICK LEWIS (NL Raiders A) - "ran the game from the first minute. Constantly a threat with the ball at his feet and capped off an incredible performance with the final goal"

8. AKIVA SOLOMON (RC UK FC) - a real handful for the RJC defenders, and another two goals

9. JONTI AREMBAND (RC UK FC) - more than played his part in the 14-goal thriller against Redbridge

10. JORDAN SAPLER (Redbridge JC C) - "4 goals, 1 assist. Was almost unplayable when upfront won every header, held the ball up well and layer off passes to teammates. RCUK had to put three men on him at set pieces and it still didn't stop him winning the ball. Very Akinfenwa like. Strong tackles when playing at the back and still had time for a lovley nutmeg whilst defending. Had 5 shots, scored 4 and the other was cleared off the line"

11. YOAV KESTENBAUM (Hendon Utd SC A) - "left his best performance of the season till the last game – great hold up, excellent wing play and the all important winning goal"

STAR MAN: Jono Rochwerger (NL Raiders A)

MANAGER: Dan Shafron (NL Raiders A)

REFEREE: Martin de la Fuente (RC UK FC vs Redbridge JC C)
