JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- LOLU HIBBERT (Real Hendon) - secured the game in the first half with a delightful chip over the keeper from 35 yards

- EDAN DODI (Hertswood Vale) - GOAL 1 - fired home a powerful free-kick from around 35 yards and into the top corner despite their keeper's best efforts

- EDAN DODI (Hertswood Vale) - GOAL 2 - following a slick through-ball from captain Josh Wood - Dodi took a touch before firing into the top corner from just outside the area

- HARRY MARLOW (Hertswood Vale) - 30 yards out who took one touch before bending the ball beautifully into the top corner with the goalkeeper completely stranded

- REISS MOGILNER (Brady Maccabi) - 25-yard thunderbolt into top corner which joint-manager Joel Nathan seriously doubt any keeper would have saved

- ZALMY COHEN (Faithfold A) - a wonderfully worked team goal that was passed all the way across the back, switched again brought forward and  then finished coolly by Cohen

- JOSH PUGH (Scrabble) - late equaliser a rasping shot from distance under pressure to earn Scrabble a point

- JOSH CUBY (Oakwood A) - GOAL 1 - smashed in from 25 yards into the top corner

- - JOSH CUBY (Oakwood A) - GOAL 2 - beat a couple of men on the wing, cut in and found the bottom corner.

- TOBY LEVY (Oakwood A) - GOAL 4 - controlled on chest and smashed a half volley through the net. Brilliant goal

- CRAIG COLE (Boca Jewniors) - stunning strike from the halfway line against Oakwood A

- RYAN COLE (Fairlop FC) - delightful free-kick from 30 yards - the second the ball left his foot it was goal bound, he bent the ball over the wall and straight into the top corner, it was the third goal of the game and killed off any hope of a Bayern Mincha come back

--------------------------

--------------------------

JC SAVE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- JAMES HARPIN (ML Lions Blue) - An awesome fingertip save tipped over the bar from a long-range effort

- GIDEON TIANO (Bayern Munich) - an outstanding save just before half-time, with neither side knowing how he saved it

--------------------------

--------------------------

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- BRANDON HAMME (Mill Hill Dons) - "FC Team gave us a great game and we know they will be one of the promotion contenders come the end of the season, so this was a really important result for us"

- SAM MARCHANT (ML Lions Blue) - "We are very happy with how things went today and we need to perform as this level and higher every game this season as we know every week is effectively a cup final if we are to have a successful season"

- ELLIOT CUKIER (Straw Hat Pirates) - "It's pretty simple. We lost today because we weren't mentally up for it. We had a fantastic result last week, and know that we can dictate any game if we want. Unfortunately we let that get to our heads and as a result got caught out by a Vale side that were up for the fight it should have been"

- RAFI ADDLESTONE (Real Hendon) - "The boys made a statement today with a thumping victory. If we're honest it should have been many more, with some really poor misses. Right-winger Chaim Strom in particular has cause to beat his chest in regret over the high holy day period"

- MITCH YOUNG (FC Team) - "The goals we are conceding are soft and it is one of the most depressing days as a manager to lose to a team like that"
