The MGBSFL will feature 26 teams for season 2018/19 – one down to the number that finished last season.

The Premier Division will contain seven teams, with nine sides lining up in Division One and 10 in Division Two, with the returning HMH awarded a double promotion into the top-flight where teams could play each other three times.

Jewdinese are back in the fold following a three-year break, for university commitments, and they will start in Division One, alongside new boys North London Galaxy.

Two teams - one from North London Raiders and one from Scrabble FC - have joined from the Maccabi Masters League.

The League Management committee also passed a rule to allow teams to register up to three players on a match-day and sin-bins for dissenting players.

MGBSFL chairman David Wolff told JC Sport: "Everyone who attended our AGM is positive and looking forward to the new season.

"We have some new and young players and teams joining this year and the mood was particularly upbeat on the back of a good World Cup campaign for England - with lots of energy and enthusiasm in the room."

The League season starts on September 9, with a Charity Shield curtain-raiser between league champions Hendon United and League Cup winners Oakwood A the week before.
