Deadly Dovi takes Hendon top

Dovi Fehler was the hat-trick hero as Hendon moved a point clear at the top after finishing in seventh heaven against Brady at Hadley FC.

Zac Lewis (2), Rafi Kon and Ari Last added the gloss as Hendon secured their sixth win in seven matches.

Jubilant Hendon boss Greg Corin told JC Sport: "It was a fantastic performance from the team. I felt we dominated well throughout today but Brady were still in the game at half-time with the score only 1-0.

"We had a good tactical chat at the break and a few minutes of some excellent wing play by Yoav Kestenbaum and we found ourselves a few goals in front.

"The team continued to play at a good tempo right until the last kick of the game and by the end, the result was in my view well deserved.

"It was an off-day for Brady and I’m sure will be a very different test for us when we play the return fixture and meet them in the next round of the cup.

"A special thank you for the commitment shown by a number of players this week as we were short on numbers. It makes a huge difference to the team."
