Although traditionally filled with poppy seeds, here’s a selection of some hamantaschen with more adventurous ingredients

    Hamantaschen are the pastries traditionally associated with the holiday of Purim.

    The name, a reference to Haman, the villain of the Purim story, is likely to have originated from the German/Yiddish word “mohntaschen” (poppy-seed pockets).
