Mark Simons has been appointed Chairman of Team GB Tennis for next year's 19th Maccabiah Games in Israel.
Simons will be assisted by vice-chair Jan Feldman, while technical support and coaching advice will come from Ronnie Maxwell (LTA High Performance Coach), who will also serve as the GB Junior tennis team coach and team manager.
Maxwell has great experience domestically and internationally and has captained many successful winning teams including the Middlesex under-18 Division One winning team this year. He has also captained the AEGON under-12-14 Club Champions.
Mark Simons commented: "Both Jan and I are excited to have been given this opportunity by Maccabi GB and we are delighted Ronnie is on the team as his qualities will be of great benefit to all the players.
"We are looking for players out there who play competitively and who will able to compete in the games."
Feldman said: "We hope that the players that are selected, live up to their expectations, but above all we hope they enjoy the whole Maccabiah experience."
Trials are scheduled to take place at Chandos LTC in Golders Green on the September 23, 2012 from 12-4pm.
Anyone who wishes to attend the trials must have completed an online application form at www.maccabigb.org.
