Steven Glicher praised his players after South Manchester Sports swept the board at the Greater Manchester Amateur League’s end-of-season awards.

Having finished third in the table, Dan Glicher collected the Young Player accolade, while master blaster Akiva Lieberman received trophies for most runs scored, the highest average in Division Three, as well as the top score.

There was also recognition for Steven Allweis for most wickets in the division, best bowling average, most catches and leading all-rounder.

South Manchester also claimed the Most Sporting team prize, with Glicher describing the haul as "a marvellous achievement".
