articlemain

Dudi Sela succumbed in five sets to Dustin Brown of Germany in the opening round of the Men’s Singles at the French Open.

The Israeli won the first set on a tie-break before Brown rattled off the next two sets to lead 2-1. Sela hit back to win the fourth 6-4 but Brown held his nerve to break serve and end Sela’s resistance.

Diego Schwartzman of Argentina also tumbled out in the first round in Paris. He went down in four sets against countryman Guido Pella.

Another player hoping to progress is Camila Giorgi of Italy in the Ladies Singles.
