Haviv Ohayon, 18, has joined Premier League team Watford on loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Ohayon, the Israeli under-19 goalkeeper, impressed the Hornets coaching staff during a three-day trial last January and as he holds a Romanian passport there were no work permit issues.
He played five pre-season friendlies for Tel Aviv as well as the Toto Cup but has yet to make his league debut.
Ohayon, 18, travelled to Vicarage Road on Wednesday with his agent Avi Nimni to undergo a medical. He will join Watford's under-23 squad after the club paid in the region of £1.75 million.
Meanwhile, Maccabi have replaced Ohayon with 21-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Daniel Miller Tenenbaum on a one-year loan from Flamengo. Tenenbaum will take Israeli citizenship, because he is Jewish, to avoid being counted as part of Maccabi's foreign quota.
Scott Kashket has joined Wycombe Wanderers after being released by Leyton Orient.
Kashket, who is 22 and made 22 appearances, agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
