Champions South Manchester Maccabi beat Bury & Whitefield by three wickets as the Northern Jewish Cricket League season drew to a close.
Bury (122) never got going as South, who used nine bowlers, shared the wickets around. Veteran Harry Rosenblum picked up 2 as did Akiva Lieberman.
The South reply got off to a terrible start losing four wickets with 58 on the board. Wickets continued to tumble around Elliot Shiers (25) as South plummeted to 63-7.
An excellent spell from Daniel Paul (4-16) counted for little as South skipper Steve Glicher (27 not out) and Akiva Lieberman (25 not out) held their nerve, putting on 60 for the 8th wicket to ensure the champions finished the season unbeaten. at the crease and together they put on 60 for the eight wicket, to see South home.
Andrew William and Ray Tammam were the heroes as Manchester Maccabi (111-9) beat Leeds by 20 runs.
Salford conceded against Sedgley who were awarded 25 points.
