Jeff Gotch insists he is already looking ahead to next season after Catford & Bromley Maccabi ended the season after beating Raiders C in a five-goal thriller.

A deadly double from Jamie Sinai and one from defender Tal Cohen saw them register their seventh win of the season to finish eighth in the Division Two table.

The Cats were up against it at times with a very depleted 11 but battled bravely to hold out in a grandstand finish.

Cats boss Jeff Gotch told JC Sport: "A draw may have been the fairer result but we'll take it and now start prepping for pre-season that starts in early July.

"We have won three drawn two and lost only one to the top three sides who will probably all go up so there is a good basis there.

"It's been a long season dating back to last July with no less that 34 games played.

"Next season we will be going for one thing only and that is top spot, and with the likes of Joel Lassman Lawrence bloom and Jason Shoffman all signing up, things are looking good."
