Milch, who is 37 and from Bushey, was beaten by Little 60-58 in February. But he insists he is hungrier than ever ahead of the six-round bout at Lee Valley Sports Centre.

“I’ve got the fight I wanted,” remarked Milch, who is in his fifth year as a pro fighter. “Some friends said I should call it a day after my last fight, but the result just didn’t sit right with me. I didn’t feel ready to give up.

“I’ve been training really hard over the past couple of months, doing lots of sparring and I’m feeling good.

“I know it will be a tough fight but I’m looking forward to it.”

Asked what he will do differently this time, Milch responded: “I need to be smarter as I didn’t fight my fight last time. I don’t want it to be a close contest.”
