YOUR WEEKEND PREVIEW STARTS HERE:
PETER MORRISON TROPHY ROUND THREE
HARMEN vs REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A
Harmen’s season hinges on Sunday’s Morrison showdown against Premier Division rivals Redbridge, and what a cracker we have in store.
James Gershfield and Daniel Garfinkle have set the Premier Division alight this season – between them contributing an incredible 37 goals.
Indeed Garfinkle was at his brilliant best in the league last week, thumping five past Camden Park as RJC stayed in the title hunt.
If you recall, the original tie was abandoned after 30 minutes after a Harmen player suffered a disclocated shoulder, with the score 1-1.
Ahead of kick-off, RJC boss Jon Jacobs told JC Sport: “We played 30 minutes against them in the first game and hope that we can actually turn up from the off this time and look forward to a great cup tie.”
RJC have taken four points out of a possible six against Harmen this season, with Daniel Garfinkle and Steve Summers registering in both games so they will go into the game with the psychological edge.
A high-octane affair is on the cards in a game where discipline and keeping 11 men on the pitch is key. He who dares wins.
JC team news:Jordan Sapler is still unavailable for RJC, while Brad Grant is unavailable in goal but “we have a more than worthy and able deputy who we shall keep nameless for now”. Jason Goldstein is fit and ready to resume his place in the squad. Danny Berg is back from stag duties.

FC TEAM A vs NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A
Rob Richman hopes that lightning strikes twice as Raiders look to complete a quickfire double over FC Team.
Ben Joseph was their star man in last week’s deserved 3-1 Anekstein Cup semi-final win that booked a third consecutive trip to Wingate & Finchley.
SEE CUP SEMI-FINAL PHOTOGALLERY
Josh Pistol and two-goal hero Ricky Engleman also produced exceptional performances in another solid all-round team display.
It’s back to the bread and butter of the league on Sunday as Raiders look to secure their third win over Team this season.
Richman told JC Sport: “It’s always difficult playing against the same side two weeks in a row. Though we had a convincing win last weekend, Team will be fully motivated in grabbing a result this Sunday.
"We've been ever so consistent since September so we will go in to the game confident but are also aware we’ll have to produce a very good performance to take home the three points.
"Though we played well last week we were nowhere near ruthless enough and we must take more of the opportunities we create this weekend.”
FC Team boss Ben Gilbey will be relieved to hear that Ben Joseph – the chief tormentor last week – is missing for the visitors, so they can really look to beef up the midfield and try to win that all-important battle.
I expect a stronger performance from Team this weekend but Raiders to come away smiling again.
JC team news: Last week’s match-winner Ben Joseph misses out but Raiders are boosted by the returning Elliott Moslawy. Player of the Year Liron Mannie is in town but he misses out with a hamstring injury.

HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A vs CAMDEN PARK
David Garbacz has been spending the week lifting himself and his players off the floor after last week’s brutal battering at the hands of Oakwood.
I certainly didn’t see a 5-0 mauling in a major cup semi-final coming and it’ll be interesting to see how they react against Camden Park.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Hendon out-fought and out-thought and I’m predicting an emphatic response for David Garbacz’s troops who will no doubt come out like wounded lions. It's vital they return to top form ahead of the last eight of the Morrison.
Ahead of kick-off, Garbacz told JC Sport: "To be honest, we are still in a state of shock from last week. Practically no-one has even mentioned football this week and the mood is low in the camp.
"We will go out on Sunday just aiming to enjoy ourselves – there is absolutely nothing at stake and we will aim to put a decent performance under our belts as we try to banish the memory of black Sunday.
"Defensively we were especially poor and we must improve in that area if the remainder of the season is to hold any type of success.
"The good news is that Moses Seitler is back for this week – we have badly missed him this year and the squad is strong for this game, so assuming we can dust off the rustiness we will expect to put on a decent showing."
Indeed Seitler continues to be the man with the midas touch as he has been working wonders up north since joining Oakhill Lions, who are closing in on the Manchester Jewish Soccer League title.
Although they have three games in hand on Camden, Hendon know that a shock result would see Sunday’s visitors leapfrog them in the table.
Bottom line is they have only won three league games this season - one of them a 6-0 demolition over Sunday's opponents. Failure isn't an option ...
JC team news: Moses Seitler is back for a rare outing Hendon this season - "one week late unfortunately," according to gaffer Garbacz. Yoav Kestenbaum is unavailable.

DIVISION ONE
TOP-SCORERS

BRADY MACCABI vs SPEC FC
The Division One title is one that seemingly, no-one wants to win.
Joint-leaders Brady have only claimed one win in their last six matches but they have been relieved to see their promotion rivals slip up on more than one occasion.
Woodford, Oakwood and FC Team B have all dropped points when least expected, and Sunday’s opponents, SPEC FC, remain in the mix.
That man Reiss Mogilner destroyed SPEC in October 4-1 victory. He leads the goal charts by some distant and his goals have kept Brady Maccabi flying high.
But I’m expecting the rematch to be much closer. SPEC FC have a 50 per cent win record this season and won’t be turned over easily.
A 4-1 win over Brixton will see them turn up in buoyant mood as they go in search of what would be their biggest scalp of the season.
Player-manager Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: “We've quite a few missing this week but we still have more than enough quality to trouble Brady if we play to our potential.
"They've thumped us once in the league and we returned the favour in the cup already this season, so I imagine Sunday will provide goals at the very least."
The teams have had some almighty battles over the years and Sunday should be no different.

FAITHFOLD B vs BRIXTON OLD BOYS
Faithfold B looked dead and buried … until last week that was.
The 3-0 win over title-chasing Oakwood B was a real coupon buster. A deadly double from Jamie Kent and one from Ben Portnoi gave the Greens some hope.
But now they have to do it all over again – against the team directly above them. But if they can keep Kent fit and available, then they might just pull off the mother of all escape acts.
Boss Rob Shooman told JC Sport: “We are seriously struggling to get results in the league this season and a competitive side out but we will continue to do our best.
“We go into each game total underdogs , hoping to keep the score down to a reasonable level.
“We appreciate that all of the teams we are playing are better than us, which shows in our position in the division, but the guys continue to compete.
“Our hopes for the game at the weekend is that we can give Brixton a decent game but they must go into this as distinct favourites.”
Brixton crushed Faithfold 7-0 earlier in the season. They start the game a point ahead of their opponents, with four games in hand. A draw would be a decent result but Robert Silverman will instruct his players to go out and secure Division One football next season once and for all.

REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B vs OAKWOOD B
Untimely defeats against title rivals Woodford and relegation-threatened Faithfold B mean that it’s squeaky-bum-time for Jason Stein and co.
No-one saw the Faithfold defeat coming. It was meant to be the Bobby Abrams show but his farewell party was well and truly spoiled.
Indeed Stein didn’t mince his words at his press match press conference. "Listen, we were poor last week. Really poor and we let ourselves down, let our families down, let the fans down,” he told the baying reporters.
“We know a performance like that isn't acceptable. We're giving out £2 vouchers to spend on the concourse at our next home game to say sorry to the fans.
"We have set a minimum level of performance for ourselves this season and we fell below it last week. So for the first time in my time at Oaks I am feeling the pressure going into a game. My sports psychologist has told me it is better to be honest rather than put up a front. And DC you can see it for yourself. Look at the greys in my hair and the dirty espresso glasses all over the place. Why am I feeling the pressure? Because I know what we can achieve.
"Maybe we started the year as the plucky little B side, but we aren't that anymore. We're title contenders - or we should be anyway. We've now got to fly to Essex, face a hostile atmosphere and put in a performance that wins us the game. It's now or never for our title challenge and six points from our next two games against Redbridge (a) and Woodford (h) are essential
"I felt some shame in myself last week that we couldn't make a crucial game-in-hand count. My chairman Ric Blank didn't say much, but he didn't have to. I could hear in the tone of his voice how let down he felt. I don't want to hear that tone again.
"I'm desperately hoping the game is on this week because we need it, we need to go to Redbridge and we need to show to ourselves that we have the hunger. I believe in us. I believe we'll win."
Redbridge know that three points would lift them above Oakwood – something that seems impossible only a few weeks ago.
Sam Rank and Richie Caplin have worked wonders since taking charge and the team is now fulfilling its potential.
David Fialka was the star man against Sosobad last week and Rank sounded in confident mood ahead of the meeting with Oakwood.
He told JC Sport: “The boys are currently in great spirts after last Sunday’s big derby win.
“The commitment, passion and effort from the boys is just amazing at the moment and we are very much looking forward to Sunday game against Oakwood.
“This will be a tough game, but in the currently form the boys are in, I am very confident of another big performance from the team and another three points.”
There is much more riding on Sunday’s game for Oakwood. It’s simply a game they cannot afford to lose.
JC team news: RJC welcome back the Dobrins brothers from injury and scouting missions. Adam Noble misses the game due to injury. It will also be a family affair for Richie Caplin who plays against his cousin Dean Caplin.
JC team news: Jonny Quinn is set to return to action after 10 months out injured, while goalkeeper Dean Caplin and centre back Ilan Scorah also return.

FC TEAM B vs WOODFORD WANDERERS
There's a crackerjack of a game in store at Old Camdenians as FC Team B and joint-leaders Woodford put their promotion credentials on the line.
Division One is the title race that keeps on giving. Team still have games in hand but they need to start winning them. Manager Mitch Young was left scratching his head after an uncharacteristically poor defensive performance against Los Blancos. It's not often they've scored five goals in a game and failed to secure maximum points.
But Young won't be hitting the panic button just yet. Blancos failed to deal with Team's long-throw threat, while Jonny Breger maintained his excellent run of form in front of goal. Oh for a team of Jonny Bregers.
Revenge will also be on the minds of Young and co. Tom Alexander and Martin Sales earned Woodford a hard-fought 2-1 win in the first meeting this season, with Alexander's winner coming with virtually the last kick of the game.
Woodford have become incredibly hard to beat this season. One defeat in 14 league games is promotion form, if not title form. But sometimes the last bit is the hardest. It would be a travesty if they failed to secure a top two finish from here.
They have the players, they have the talent and they have the belief. Now it's important they get the job done with a real statement of intent in north-west London.
This is a game that could go either way and will boil down to who wants it most on the day. In terms of a prediction, it's too close to call.

REAL SOSOBAD vs NORTH LONDON RAIDERS B
Raiders B have been dragged into the relegation dogfight and that's something I didn't think I'd be saying at the start of the season.
Having beaten Sosobad already this season, Jonathan Adelman's men will arrive in confident mood, but I believe they could find things tougher second time around.
Sosobad have been learning on their feet this season and the recent 2-2 draw against title hopefuls Brady Maccabi tells you what they are capable.
And with Jamie Shaw in their forward line, the NLR defence must be prepared to dig deep.
Real boss Dan Shafron told JC Sport: “We are expecting another tough game against a good, young Raiders side.
“We dominated much of the game the last time we played, however we struggled in front of goal and they punished us for it.
“We are playing good football at the moment, the team spirit is the best it’s been despite last week’s result and we continue to believe that on our day, we can beat anyone.”
Sosobad have scored in every game this season and if they play their cards right three points are there for the taking.
JC team news: Real skipper Dan Lassman will have a late fitness test. Dave Levy and John Lessem are welcomed back to the squad while recent star man Jamie Crawford is out.

ATHLETIC BILBAUM vs CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI
Jeff Gotch sounded a little deflated when asked for his hopes ahead of the trip to Bilbaum.
Gotch is feeling flat as the Cats have failed to build on their excellent performances against Lions B and defeats to Real Hendon, Bilbaum and, most recently, FC Team have hit them hard.
He told JC Sport: “We go again and after last week’s bitter disappointment we look to bounce back against a side who thumped us a few weeks ago.
“We are missing several regulars but still have a strong squad so I am hoping we turn up and put in a good shift and take home a reward.”
The Baums have really turned the corner and go into the matches four games without defeat. Jacob Brunner is winning the internal battle for the club’s coveted Golden Boot but it’s their defence who has helped keep things tight and given their attack-minded players a platform to bomb forward.
Edward Green (2), Ben Bell and Brunner registered in the 5-0 mauling at the start of the year and I doubt Catford’s psychological scars have fully healed.

L’EQUIPE vs SCRABBLE FC
Scrabble will be looking to bounce back as quickly as possible after last week's defeat to Lions – their first of the season.
It doesn’t matter if you lose 1-0 or 6-1, it’s about how you react. Manager Ray Abrahams could have torn strips out of his players but instead he went for the option I’d have taken and reminded them what they have achieved and that it’s only a matter of time until they are crowned champions.
Abrahams told JC Sport: “We were all quietly amused by Lions’ comments after last week's game that they “truly showed us how to play football'.
“We go about our business in a more professional way than to rise to that one and I think that with 16 straight wins and Lions’ inconsistency that truly makes us the best footballing side in this division.
“Last week's game is now history and I will be looking for a positive reaction this Sunday against L'Equipe as we need to bounce back quickly and get back on track.
“We need 10 points from 15 now to guarantee the title. From the start of the season our aim has been promotion from this league and the title and some silverware in our first season back would be a wonderful achievement by everyone connected with this great club.”
L’Equipe boss Nick Stern told me he is not fearing a Scrabble backlash on Sunday. “I will meet your question head on and say no,” Stern told JC Sport.
“One thing that we learnt playing Scrabble last time out is that they are not young and fit which is why we believe Lions beat them. Lions are set up perfectly to play Scrabble so we were not at all surprised by the result.
“However, we are no fools and know the strengths of Scrabble and clearly a 16-match winning run shows how good they are - they just excel in different areas to Lions.
“Our issue this weekend is that we have the same faults/strengths as scrabble and that age and speed are not on our side, but a togetherness and a desire to win is where we stand out.
“Sadly we haven’t been able to show this enough this year, but the group has stayed extremely close together and we have an exceptional attitude running through the whole team.
“We really wanted to play last week as we were ready to turn our form around but knowing what Chase Lodge is like we were not surprised it was cancelled. What this therefore means is that we just have to turn our fortunes around against the champions elect.”
“Again, I would like to congratulate Scrabble on their season so far, and commend them on the way that they have played and most importantly the results that they have earned but this Sunday we ignore this and aim to condemn Scrabble to back-to-back defeats.
“It’s a huge game and we all know that but what may even be nicer is if the JC cameras turned up to witness
L’Equipe for the first time this season, we have models like Mark Singer, Mark Smith and James Mendel in our team and they deserve to be on the back pages of the JC!”
No doubt L’Equipe will huff and puff but in the end Scrabble will blow their house down.
JC team news: Scrabble welcome back captain Josh Tiano and influential midfielder Dan Green, who both missed out last week for personal reasons. Josh Sheridan will be missing this week as will Adam Waters who has still not recovered from a persistent knee injury.

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS C vs FC TEAM C
NLR's David Domb is looking forward to a reunion with former skipper Jonny Samuel in Sunday's meeting with FC Team.
L'Orange know they must pull out all the stops to finish in the automatic promotion spots following Lions B's excellent win over Scrabble last week, but they will need to bring their A-game to the table.
Domb told JC Sport: "Jonny was a big part of our title-winning season, and it'll be good to come up against him this weekend.
“It's a shame it's been two weeks since the Scrabble game. It's a long time after a loss like that. But we played some superb football that day, as always we'll take heart going forward.
“We're still well-placed in the mix for a place in the top three which ultimately is the target. But we now can't afford any slip ups.”
Jamie Cooper was FC Team's match-winner in the thriller against Catford last week. It was a topsy turvy game, with Team marching into a three-goal lead before the Cats hit back, only for Cooper to break their hearts late on.
Team's David Gordon told JC Sport: "It was good to get back on track with a win last week, albeit one which was a lot harder than it should have been.
"We do have a number of players missing this week but we’ll still go into this game with confidence.
"We haven’t played Raiders this season, but we were beaten 4-3 about a year ago when they scored three in the final five minutes, so we will be looking to avenge that defeat.”
I'm predicting an open and entertaining affair. There's more at stake for Raiders so I'm backing them to take the points.
JC team news: Nick Haringman and Will Ufland miss out, but David Domb returns after missing the last four games.
FC Team’s Eitan Ben-Zion is serving a one game suspension while Dan Lederman and Jacob Symons are both out.

REAL HENDON vs MACCABI LONDON LIONS B
Having claimed one of the results of the season, the Lions must ensure this isn't a case of after the Lord Mayor's Show.
Sam Marchant's troops were at their brilliant best against runaway leaders Scrabble and it's important they don't let their good work go to waste against tricky opponents.
Marchant told JC Sport: "Sunday is another big game for us. The squad is feeling good after the Scrabble victory and we hope to carry our form into the next game.
"If we get the victory, we leapfrog Real Hendon and take their spot of second in the league.
“It is a second versus third match-up and a lot is at stake. We beat them at home in the beginning of January and I’m sure they will be better prepared to deal with us and I expect them to have a plan.
“It should be another exciting game and if we play as we did last Sunday, we really should be taking all the points back home with us.”
Real have struggled against their promotion rivals. Scrabble did the double over them and they will be determined to prove a point to themselves as much as their fans that they are second for a reason.
The first 20 minutes will be crucial.
JC team news: Daniel Fattal returns to the Lions squad after a two-week absence where he was climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for charity. Daniel Mattey returns to the squad after a two-and-a-half-month absence.

TEMPLE FORTUNE vs BOCA JEWNIORS
Jonathan Cohen is looking forward to what he describes as “a huge game” as Temple Fortune take on Boca.
Simon Englander was Boca's match-winner when the teams met earlier in the season - one of just seven goals the Boca boys have registered.
Boca defended for their lives that day in what was their only clean sheet to date, but what is more worrying is that they have failed to score in seven matches this season.
Anton Nyman told JC Sport: "It looks like we have a small squad to choose from this week, but the boys are raring to go ahead of another must-win game against Temple Fortune.
“We’ve enjoyed a couple of weeks break and anticipate another tight game - but hopefully we'll find the goals we need to win this one.”
Fortune produced arguably their finest display of the season last time out, when Adam Lenz earned them a draw against high-flying Hendon. They led at one point and gaffer Cohen came away disappointed it was only one point rather than three.
If they play with the same spirit this weekend, I can see them coming away smiling.
