FOUR-MIDABLE HARMEN MARCH ON
FAITHFOLD A 2 HARMEN 4
James Gershfield maintained his excellent start to the season as Harmen notched up their second win at the home of 2013 champions Faithfold.

Fellow new boy Jake Gottlieb and Joey Lazare sealed a famous win, with Alex Kaye and record goal-scorer Daryl Phillips registering for Faithfold.

Harmen joint-manager Oli Leslie told JC Sport: "We showed in the game that we will challenge on all fronts and every team that plays us should fear whats coming."

Disappointed Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon told JC Sport: "I'm disappointed with the result - we just did not get going. We were always playing catch up and just made too many errors. We were missing a few today, but errors made really cost us. Well done to Harmen who have put a decent team together."

Harmen squad: Alex Bowman, Ben Henry, Ben Weinberg, Bradley Dryer, Bradley Sharp, David Ronson, George Fierstone, Harry Fine, Jake Gottleib, James Castle, James Gershfield, Joey Lazare, Jon Morris, Marc Foster, Omri Brinner, Ricky Rinder, Rob Blackman, Sam Castle

NEW BOYS SHINE FOR REDBRIDGE
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 2 NORTH WEST NEASDEN 1
Redbridge claimed their second win of the season as goals from new boys Brad Gayer and James Jaconelli edged them past Neasden at Fairlop.

RJC spokesman Richard Bronzite told JC Sport: "We were always in control of the game - their keeper, who is not a keeper (Ben Chernoff) pulled of some remarkable saves. We did well to keep plugging away and we knew the winning goal would eventually come. Big credit to Neasden who kept on putting pressure on us but our defence were too strong in the end."

NWN boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "Redbridge played some very good football in the first half, but we showed great team spirit to stay in the game. We did a lot better in the second half and finished the game with four players up front."
