JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
- AVI GOLDBERG (HMH) - "With Hendon not playing for a while, we now have the chance to go back to the top of the premiership if we beat Brady on Sunday - what a prospect!"
- RICHARD BRONZITE (Redbridge JC B) - "Last Monday I thought we would have to forfeit the game due to a shortage of players but we managed to make some signings to get this game on so to come away with 3points is massive for us"
- LUKE LEWIS (NL Galaxy) - "Special shout out to Jack Mattey for his goal and assist - the biggest talent in the MGBSFL for sure. Not a full back in all 3 divisions could tame him"
- DANIEL HOLDER (Bayern Mincha) - "It was devastating to lose at the death in extra-time, especially with the immense team effort. It was the story of our season - long-term injuries have meant we miss about six first-teamers every week, which has simply ruined our season. However, we matched a strong Jewdinese team for 120 minutes, but credit to them for coming out on top"
- GAV KRIEGER (Los Camden A) - "The Coque brothers must’ve put red bull in their Weetabix this morning!"

LOS CAMDEN A 4 BRADY MACCABI 1
Los Camden A warmed up for next week's League Cup semi-final with a morable-boosting 4-1 win over Brady, thanks to first-half goals from Louis Coque, plus late efforts from the evergreen Rick Harris and a penalty from Jake Saunders.
Jay Meranda grabbed Brady's consolation.
Jubilant boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "I am again proud of my boys - they stuck to the game and after two negative results, they started playing in the manner that got us to where we are this season. With injuries galore and many players playing out of position, the boys took their chances and were extremely professional in seeing us over line."
DC Prediction: Camden 2 Brady 1

MACCABI LONDON LIONS 1 HMH 2
Leo Berger and an own goal saw HMH moved to within a point of leaders Hendon United after an impressive 2-1 win over in-form Lions at Rowley Lane.
James Gold had opened the scoring for Lions, before HMH rallied superbly in a game where goalkeeper Jake Doffman maintained his excellent form with some super saves.
Delighted HMH boss Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: "We just edged it on a very blustery day at the Lane. Both sides created some good chances but both goalkeepers were in fine form. A game of fine margins as first Jake Doffman saved a penalty then Oscar Wagner had a goal ruled out for offside. The lads once again showed great desire in overturning a one-goal deficit against a strong Lions team. With Hendon not playing for a while, we now have the chance to go back to the top of the premiership if we beat Brady on Sunday - what a prospect!"
Lions' joint-manager Max Kyte told JC Sport: "A deserved win for HMH who just tipped the balance on the day. Jake Doffman made key saves from a penalty when 1-1 and again in the dying moments when HMH were 2-1 up. Unfortunately not enough of our players turned up, and when that is the case, you can’t expect a result."
DC Prediction: MLL 1 HMH 1

SPEC FC 0 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B 8
Hat-tricks from CRAIG SANDFORD and LEE CUTLER ended SPEC FC's automatic promotion hopes as Redbridge JC B kept alive their title hopes with a crushing win in Bushey.
Further strikes from Frank Branch and Adam Shafron sealed RJC's ninth win of the season, with Adam Klein impressing in defence.
RJC boss Richard Bronzite hailed his team for the perfect performance. "I'm delighted with the win and the performance. We controlled the game from start to finish and the boys who played should all be proud of themselves as this was a real team effort."
SPEC player-manager Ricky Lawrence gave an honest assessment and told JC Sport: "“Not a good day, obviously. Fair play to Redbridge they were better in every single department.”
DC Prediction: SPEC 3 RJC 2

SCRABBLE FC B 2 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 0
Goals from 49-year-old Andy Miller and Jeremy Teacher helped Scrabble B produce their Sunday best to shock Division One table-toppers Redbridge A and move into the next round of the cup.
Jubilant Scrabble boss Jon Yantin told JC Sport: "The old boys calmly knocked out the favourites with a steady organised and disciplined performance, always looking in control."
DC Prediction: Scrabble 1 RJC 2

JEWDINESE 2 BAYERN MINCHA 1 (After extra-time)
A 30-yard screamer from Josh Platt took Jewdinese through in extra-time as they held off Division One rivals Bayern Mincha to progress.
Barney Rhodes had put 'Nese in front only for Bayern to level to take the game to extra-time.
Jubilant 'Nese boss Darren Lawrence told JC Sport: “I’m absolutely delighted for the boys today. Mincha are a good side and make themselves difficult to beat, and for the third time today we have found a way to beat them. The boys battled well, got through a lot of running and, at times, played some really nice football. It is clear we have the Barry Goldstein in our sights and the boys knew they really had to work hard to get the win.”
Bayern boss Daniel Holder told JC Sport: "It was devastating to lose at the death in extra-time, especially with the immense team effort. It was the story of our season - long-term injuries have meant we miss about six first-teamers every week, which has simply ruined our season. However, we matched a strong Jewdinese team for 120 minutes, but credit to them for coming out on top. This was a competition we believed that we would go on to win had we won the match but best of luck to Jewdinese, with them being the favourites to go on and win it.
DC Prediction: ‘Nese 2 Bayern 1
