JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
- SIM COHEN (Jewdinese) - curled a 25-yard free-kick into the net
- SCOTT OLDSTEIN (Jewdinese) - 30 yards out, he took one touch to control and another touch to superbly volley the ball up and over the keeper to draw his team level
- ADAM GOLDMAN (Fairlop FC) - spectacular arrowed effort into the top left-hand corner to make it 1-1 against Redbridge JC A
- RYAN COLE (Fairlop FC) - with 93 minutes on the clock, Cole picked the ball up before taking aim from fully 25 yards and sending a wonderful curling effort into the top corner
- DAVE CLEMENTS (Faithfold Doc MM A) - Absolute belter from 30/35 yards by Clements, recently joined from the C's, beating David Myers all ends up. No football in the MGBSFL has been hit sweeter or harder than that this season. Bullet!
- JOSH TIANO (Los Camden A) - We were originally going to have to give this to Oli Sade for an excellent solo goal but up stepped Josh Tiano who decided on 120 minutes to pop up with a 60-yard half -olley lob. With HMH chasing the game and committing men forward a loose header from the Camden backline was met by Tiano, ten yards in his own half, with the last kick of the game. He produced an outrageous volley which lobbed the keeper who was off his line. Cue the Sunday League scenes of jubilation as an absolute fan and squad favourite popped up with the goal that got Camden over the line, resulting in a famous Camden pile on. This will go down easily as one of the Camden moments of the season and will be spoken about in folk law for years to come

Extra-time goals from Oli Sade and Josh Tiano saw Los Blancos edge into the third round at the expense of Premier Division rivals HMH.
Los Camden manager Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "I am so happy for the boys; Oli Sade, Gav Krieger, Dan Orgel, Sacha Nusenbaum, Josh Tiano, Dave Khalastchi and Steven Murad all came back from lengthy injuries and still had the capacity to see us over the line in extra-time."
HMH manager Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: "It seems Los Camden really have become our bogey team. Another match, another dominant display, two goals scored in normal time - both ruled out for offside - such is life. Tough but we need to regroup for big game against Oakwood on Sunday."

JOSH BHARIER claimed another hat-trick as Oakwood were at their ruthless best to move to within four points of leaders Hendon United, with a game in hand, following a 6-1 victory over Brady. Scott Smith, Toby Levy and an own goal sealed the points.
Graeme Grossman fired a consolation goal for Brady at 0-5 down.
Oaks joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "It was a superb win and performance against a fired-up and full strength Brady. Today we took our chances and blew our oppo away in the opening half an hour. Josh continues to prove his worth. On to HMH..."
Brady boss Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "Oakwood are a very good team who you know will press you from the first minute till the last, and we have to learn to be quicker as well as being more careful on the ball against oppo like this. We have a cup game against Fairlop next week so know we have to bounce back to keep our season alive."

Michael Kenley and Adam Arnold were on the scoresheet for the second week running as the Lions climbed into the top four after beating Faithfold at Rowley Lane.
Lions joint-manager Max Kyte told JC Sport: "We were far from our best day and were disappointed with our performance. The energy wasn’t there and we were wasteful in front of goal. On another day it should have been six or seven. Still, a win is a win and we climb up the table..."
Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "It was a game of two halves. We were on top towards the end but didn’t have enough time to find an equaliser. So our poor run of results continues, despite a much-improved performance."

Goals from Adam Ellis, Alon Pinhas and Samuel Leader saw Bayern Mincha produce one of the performances of the day to beat title-chasing Galaxy 3-1 in a game where all the goals were scored in the second half.
Bayern joint-manager Daniel Holder told JC Sport: "What a sensational game today. We went from our worst performance in our history last week, to quite comfortably our best performance as a club. On our day with a strong squad we can beat anyone in this league as shown by today."

FAIRLOP FC 4 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 4
A stunning 93rd long-range special from Ryan Cole ensured Fairlop maintained their unbeaten record in an eight-goal thriller against Essex title rivals and league leaders Redbridge Jewish Care A at 7 Kings.
Adam Bolle, who was unveiled to visiting fans in the warm-up, marked his RJC return with two goals, and there were another two from Dean Nyman, making it eight goals in two games, before Cole's last-gasp thunderbolt in a game that had it all.
James Jaconelli, Bradley Gayer and Adam Goldman were Fairlop's other scorers, and Jake Sanders told JC Sport: "Despite our late equaliser, a point was the least we deserved and despite going to great lengths in terms of drafting in players, Redbridge still can’t beat us. That's 31 league games unbeaten since we were founded in July 2017."
RJC joint-manager Sam Rank told JC Sport: "To be leading after 92 minutes and to concede late on, of course, feels like a defeat. Due to both teams cancelling each other out no football was played due to size of the pitch and high-pressure from both teams. We move onto our trip to Manchester next week where we can enjoy ourselves."

JEWDINESE 3 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS 3
Jewdinese were indebted to an own goal helped as they maintained their promotion push in a six-goal thriller against Raiders. Goal-of-the-week contenders from Scott Oldstein and Simeon Cohen helped the home side to a hard-earned point.
Jordan Nathan (2) and Aron Gale accounted for the Raiders goals.
NLR's Gideon Gale told JC Sport: "Another Sunday, another dominating performance, another two points dropped. I cannot fault any one of the lads today. Everyone put in a shift and worked their socks off. Apart from two worldie goals and a mistake of our own, the three points would have been ours."
'Nese boss Darren Lawrence told JC Sport: "I am severely disappointed to drop two points today. I know we conceded three, but I was really happy with how we defended today, with the goals coming from individual errors and what we believed to be an offside goal."

A deadly double from Zalmy Cohen inspired basement battlers Faithfold C to a shock win over high-flying SPEC FC.
Further strikes from Naftali Dove and Chaim Kraus secured the points.
Faithfold player-manager Ben Kfir told JC Sport: "This was a great result for the lads who put in a real shift in today. We've been training hard and the commitment has started to pay off. Hopefully we can carry on the performance to the next game against Raiders."
SPEC's goals came via Sam Martin and Ashley Burns. SPEC player-manager Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: "Faithfold were excellent and while we were very poor, they were worthy winners."

Mill Hill Dons secured their sixth league win of the season, courtesy of strikes from Nick Phillips, Zach Cohen, Adam Isaacs and Reece Joseph.
Dons boss Brandon Hamme told JC Sport: "An impressive performance from the boys today especially in the second half. We weren’t clinical enough in front of goal in the first half but we found out clinical edge after the break."
Player-manager James Cartmell grabbed a consolation for Raiders. He told JC Sport: "We played well for the first 60 minutes, putting together some good moves and creating decent chances, however we were unable to convert. That said, keeper Brian Rubenstein pulled off some great saves and defender Adam Leveson made some great blocks."

Alex Bourne cancelled out an opener from RJC teenager Max Aston exchanged as Scrabble B drew with Redbridge B.
Scrabble player-manager Jon Yantin told JC Sport: "It was a good, solid and fair game. We're just delighted we’re holding our own in the division."
RJC boss Richard Bronzite told JC Sport: "We started brightly, hit the post threetimes in the opening 15 minutes then we went to sleep. It was a fair result, although it wouldn’t have surprised me had Scrabble won at the end. They were fitter and a lot hungrier then we were. I'd like to put it down to rustiness which didn’t help, but we didn’t show hunger or desire today."
