Meet the teams: Brady Maccabi

articlemain

Silverware is the name of the game for Brady Maccabi in season 2014/15. Manager Josh Dagul gives the lowdown on his squad.

COMPETITIONS ENTERED The league and both cups. We have big hopes that we can build on last season's impressive league campaign, and make some waves in the cups, maybe sneaking into Europe.

HOPES FOR THE SEASON: We have real aspirations of winning some more silverware this year.

PLAYERS IN: Some big signings for Brady this year. Explosive goal-scorer Matt Frohlich follows in his brother's footsteps, treading the hallowed turf of Rowley Lane. Sam Singer returns to the Lane as one of the hottest goalkeeping prospects in the league. In headline making news, Brady's prodigal son James Joseph returns home, claiming that the little child inside of him couldn't turn down the chance to rejoin Brady when it arose. He signs a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.

PLAYERS OUT: Dave Newman has embarked on an American adventure, and so has left the club by mutual consent. Sam Frohlich is hanging up his boots but remains a Brady boy at heart.

ONES TO WATCH: Matt Frohlich will be a handful for defences at this level. A return to fitness for Michael Beaber has set tongues wagging among fans, who are excited to see him pull on a red shirt once again. Marauding veteran full-back Ben Hildebrand remains an exciting attacking outlet and a reliable defender, and is always worth keeping an eye on.

CAPTAIN: Danny Harrod is the club captain, and wears the armband going into the new campaign

WHAT WILL YOUR TEAM BRING TO THE LEAGUE THIS SEASON? We will bring flair, passion, camaraderie and hilarious match reports!
