Maccabi Masters round-up: November 19

Maccabi London Lions joined Brady Maccabi A at the top of the Maccabi Masters League following a high-scoring victory over Brady B.


Goals from Michael Abraham (2), Paul Buxton, Ory Halperin and Darren Dryer earned Lions a 5-1 win over Brady B.

The battle between EHRS Stonegrove and St John’s Wood Tigers ended all square as Adam Soller’s second-half strike for Tigers was cancelled out by John Dubiner’s late header.

Glenthorne edge out Essex rivals Marshside, thanks to a solitary goal from Marc Linch, despite playing the second half with just ten men. Glenthorne also had stand-in ‘keeper Sid Shaw to thank for a string of fine saves, including one from the penalty spot.
