Sam Little completed his best European tour finish of the season with a one under par 70 in the final round of the Wales Open.
The Kings Langley-based professional started the last round at The Celtic Manor Resort in a share of 14th place, but he was unable to replicate his four under par 67 from the penultimate round and had to settle for a tie for 21st with a nine under par total of 275.
Although this was 13 shots behind comfortable winner Scott Strange, it represents a six-place improvement on the 32-year-old’s previous result of the campaign – a share of 27th at the Asian Open – and is certain to keep him moving in the right direction on the Order of Merit.
Little has been a member of Hendon Reform Synagogue and Hartsbourne Golf Club.
