London Maccabi Lions Under 11s have won the Watford Friendly League White Division title.

Featuring the meanest defensive record in the League, conceding just 22 goals in 18 games including eight clean sheets, manager Darren Dryer commented that the boys success was down to “a never-say-die attitude" allied to having some very talented young footballers.

He said that the team “would now be concentrating on competing at the highest level in the Premier Division next season”.
