Leeds Maccabi believe they have the psychological edge over Heaton Park Rovers ahead of the Shonn Trophy Final.
The MJSL teams will resume their rivalry when they meet at Salford on Thursday.
Leeds Maccabi, who pipped HPR to the title, marched into the final after downing South Manchester 6-0 in the last-four thanks to a Jordan Marks hat-trick.
And boss Daniel Kristall said: "They will be desperate to beat us. They haven’t beaten us this season and that will be playing on their minds.
"We are confident of winning this trophy. It will be another tight game but we haven’t dropped off the pace since lifting the title."
HPR had their own hat-trick hero in their 6-3 semi-final win over Reich Insurance Rangers thanks to Alexander Swift’s treble.
And player-boss David Seligman will fancy getting one over the side who have enjoyed the bragging rights over them this season.
He said: "We’ve enjoyed our battles with Leeds. I expect this to be another grudge match."
