Excel League
NWLJ 6 Elstree 0

North West London Jets ended a fantastic performance against Elstree in the Excel league with a 6-0 victory.

The Jets started the game on the front foot with superb teamwork carving out numerous chances in front of the Elstree goal.

They were denied several early goals as the Elstree goalkeeper appeared to be unbeatable. However, eventually the pressure told as the Jets opened the scoring through a deflection which took the ball beyond the goalkeeper's reach and into the back of the net.

The Jets went into half time with the own goal proving to be the decisive moment of the first half.

The second half saw an even more dominant Jets performance with the NWLJ attack proving more clinical than the first.

Matti Karp doubled the lead with a birthday special as he struck the ball from outside the penalty area into the roof of the net.

Joseph Alfon then added a third, latching onto a pass from David Amor to tap the ball into the back of the Elstree net.

The Jets could not stop scoring as Eytan Kleinberg came in at the front post to guide the ball into the top corner.

Amor then got his name onto the scoresheet, weaving his way past three Elstree defenders before slotting the ball into the bottom corner.

Man of the match Joel Ucko assisted the final goal, dribbling from right back, around an opposing defender, before crossing the ball into the penalty area for Akiva Restan to grab the sixth.
