NOMINATIONS
MILL HILL DONS
Joshua Cinna (CB) - a commanding performance from the debutant today, he made some crucial challenges and interceptions. Looking like a very good signing for the club
Nick Phillips (CDM/CM) - a real captain's performance from Phillips today, he was a true leader in the middle of the park and undoubtedly must have covered the most ground in the game, he never stopped running. He looked very calm on the ball and was instrumental in our third goal of the game with a beautiful pass into the feet of Zach Cohen
Ryan Kramer (RM) - Kramer was causing nightmares for Faithfold's defence throughout the game and is unlucky to only have just the one assist to his name. He delivered dangerous crosses in all game, in particular the ball that lead to our second goal. Very solid performance
-----------------
HERTSWOOD VALE
Josh Gorb (LM) - Gorby was on top form today. Took his goal well, a powerful shot inside the area which left their keeper with absolutely no chance to open his account for the season. Showed serious desire, winning every single header and challenge that he was presented with
-----------------
BAYERN MINCHA
Akiva Fink (CDM) - class in the central defensive mid role. Marshalled the middle of the pitch brilliantly with a very composed and disciplined performance
Adam Ellis (S) - the FC Team defence could not contain him. Outstanding performance and unplayable on that form with two goals and an assist on his debut for the club
Harry Salter (CB) - was like another captain at the back. Commanding performance at the back and cleared everything that came into his path from start to finish. My MOTM
-----------------
FAITHFOLD A
Avi Mocton (CB) - was a beast at the back. Won every battle and drove the team forward after winning it
Joseph Corin (GK) - We knew how tall and phyiscal L'Equipe are and Joseph collected everything. Balls over the top, Long throws, corners and hoofed free-kicks as well as making two or three excellent saves
Dan Ezra (RW) - came on five minutes into the second half scored two and was only robbed of his hat-trick because of the lack of goal-line technology
------------------------
STRAW HAT PIRATES
Gideon Tiano (GK) - man-of-the-match performance, made some incredible saves, especially towards the end, proving how much of an asset he is. Crucial diving save towards the end justifies his place in goal and as one of the best keepers in the division
Ben Mandell (LW) - captain returned after a horrific head injury last week that saw him rushed to A&E after five minutes. Played the full 90 minutes, causing serious danger down the wings and put in the corner for Michael Amsellem to finish
Adam Hilsenrath (CB) - the 3rd Hilsenrath son had an outstanding game, keeping the experienced Fairlop attack at bay alongside Joel Newman and made sure SHP saw the game out to get the vital point needed
Jono Nesbitt CM) - a strong pre-season from one of our summer signings meant that a well-earned holiday was needed. But making his debut for the season, Jono helped dictate our midfield both going forward and defending, nullifying top talent that won the MGBSFL Premier League last season and causing dangerous attach for his team
--------------------------
OAKWOOD A
Lee Warner (LB) - first game back for the Oaks since his travels. Superb performance. LB
Dale Bradman (CB) - some fine blocks and strong performance from the ever consistent Bradman
Tom Cantor (CB) - debut - brilliant at centre half with Dale Bradman
Kyle Bentwood (CM) - leader, captain and superb performance. Took his goal superbly
Brad Wine (CM/LW) - played a bit deeper this week due to midfield absentees. Battled and fought for every ball and caused Raiders problems all day. Brilliant effort against the post in first half stoppage time
Simon Davies (CM) - skips first game back in CM. We missed him. Controlled display
Daniel Seligman (M) - promoted to the A team and stepped up. Excellent battling performance topped off with the third goal
Sam Cantor (s) - best player on the pitch. Gave Rhodes a very difficult morning. Outstanding from Sam
--------------------------
HENDON UNITED SPORTS
Josh Harris (S) - An imperious performance, holding the ball up brilliantly throughout the game and bringing in other forward players. Scored two goals, one of which was very special. (STAR MAN!)
Ben Lauffer (CB) - not only a calm reassuring presence at the back but also the ability to pick passes through opposition defences, even from the back
Mark Weiler (D) - played very well at left-back. Assured defensively and dangerous in the opposition half as well
