NOMINATIONS

FAITHFOLD DOC MM B

Motti Korman (GK) - stand-in goalie came off his line excellently all game and showed good hands on a few occasions

Hezzie Raymond (LB) - first to everything, strong in the tackle and made sure nothing got past him all game

Yossi Goldberg (D) - led the back line well both at RB and CB - mopped up everything

Lolu Hibbert (CM) - passing was exceptional, set the wingers off time and time again, as well as winning tackles and headers in the middle of the park

Benny Goldberg (S) - outstanding all game, took his 3 goals with gusto and brought others into play all game - led the line and a real handful. MOTM

--------------------

NORTH LONDON GALAXY

Dan Brennan (LB) - up and down all game, combining excellently

Luke Lewis (S) - the poacher himself .. two goals making it five goals in two games

Jess Alexander (M) - like a young Clarence Seedorf today. Picked the ball up in the pocket excellently with two goals to match

--------------------

MILL HILL DONS

Richard Reback (CDM) - the Jewish N'Golo Kante. A bundle of energy in midfield today, with countless tackles and ball recoveries to his name

Adam Lisberg (CB) - swept up very well all game and looked very assured when playing out from the back

Sam Demby (LB) - back-to-back nominations for a player who's tenacity and reading of danger is allowing him to make the left-left-back spot his own

Sam Stead (CM) - didn't stop running all game and led the press superbly from the front. Rewarded for his hard work with a well-taken goal

--------------------

MACCABI LONDON LIONS

Jack Franks (GK) - superb performance first game back for four years and showed true class making save after save

Benji Weinberger (CM) - finding his feet in a new central role and showed real quality both attacking and defending

Reiss Mogilner (RM) - non-stop running, non-stop class. Two goals and an assist

--------------------

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS MASTERS

Brian Rubenstein (GK) - made a series of good saves on his return

--------------------

REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A

Dean Caplin (GK) - a big presence today. Took control of a lot of tricky situations very well and distribution very well

Richard Gold (RB) - first game of the season for the RJC A full back, was very impressive. Kept the dangerous David Leiwry quiet, but the most impressive point, is how Richard did the basics things so well. Meeting the ball, making the tackles and distribution. Outstanding first game back

Scott McKenzie (LB) - very solid performance and kept Faithfold's danger men quiet

Adam Noble (DM) -  was dealt a big blow with not starting the game today, but proved a big point to his manager with a very accomplished performance at defensive-midfield. Won all his 12 tackles, broke up play so many times, and dictated and dominated the play so impressively.

James Berkley (CM) - a workmanlike performance from 'Demeble of Jewish football'. Deserved his goal and did a lot of the dirty work

Sam Sollosi (RM/AM) - always a danger in the first half, but in the second Faithfold A could not get near him an scored and tucked his goal away very efficiently

Dean Nyman (CF) - ran his socks into the ground his first game back. Very unlucky not to score a couple in the first half, but a good starting block and return

--------------------

SCRABBLE FC A

Josh Molloy (GK) - saved a penalty and not only organised the Scrabble defence very well but pulled off some fine saves to deny Galaxy on several occasions

--------------------

HERTSWOOD VALE

Justin Mullem (RB) – A really strong performance on his debut, slotting into the defence, and didn’t put a foot wrong all game. Was solid defensively, whilst providing some quality balls going forward

Jack Shulman (CB) – Vale’s Director of Football was thrust into centre-back after Ashley Hirschberger’s horrible injury in the first half. Despite not making as many appearances this season as he would’ve liked, Jack was back to his best and put in a quality performance throughout. Won key challenges and headers, and alongside James Neidle, quelled pretty much everything that FC Team’s front three could throw at him

James Millet (CAM) – it’s impossible to ignore this man. "The best player in the MGBSFL Division Two without a doubt, and he continued to add to his pricetag, putting in another class performance, helping himself to a tidy hat-trick. That’s 16 goals for the season so far this season for Millet, and make no mistake, he’s hungry for more.

Ben Kaye (ST) – has had to overcome a horrible knee injury this season, and is attempting to make up for lost time with a quality performance today. He may not have grabbed a goal, but his two assists for our first two goals were straight out of the top drawer. His hold-up play throughout was quality

Jordan Harris (RM) – a second nomination in two weeks for Jordan. FINALLY grabbed his first goal of the season, and it was well worth waiting for. His first half performance in particular was brilliant – James Millet was heard saying at half time “Harris, that’s the best 45 minutes of football I’ve ever seen you play”. That says it all for me!

Simon Englander (CM) – another solid performance from Vale’s N’Golo Kante. Swept up everything in front of the defence and was spraying passes all over the pitch

--------------------

LOS CAMDEN A

Rob Hershkorn (S) - played out of his skin, his performance did not warrant him being on the losing side as his skill, determination and all-round display kept this fixture alive for us late into the second half
