Brady Maccabi clinched the Watford Friendly League’s Spring Plate after beating HMH 5-1 in the final at Sun Postal in Watford.
Having already beaten their opponents twice this season, confidence was high in the Brady camp. Cheered on by around 150 supporters, Barry Warren’s youngsters took the game by the scruff of the neck with Max Kaye, Jake Mullem and Daniel Mattey taking control.
A 15th minute strike from Daniel Mattey plus three quickfire goals at the start of the second half settled the contest. James Michelson (2) and Alex Jacobs put Brady in the box seat. Man-of-the-match match Max Kaye added a fifth with a great individual effort.
HMH claimed a late consolation via the penalty spot but it was Brady Maccabi who were celebrating by the final whistle.
