Dr Ralph Rogers, who recently resigned as first-team doctor from Chelsea FC, will be practising at the Wellington Diagnostic Centre in Golders Green.

Rogers, a black American Jew, was headhunted by Roman Abramovich but departed during the summer following the appointment of Paco Biosca as the club's medical director.

It was reported that Rogers was thought to have been unhappy at working under Biosca because the Spaniard was not yet registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), as required by FA, Premier League and GMC legislation, if he is to practise medicine in this country.
