Stuart Delmonte admitted AFC Flixton won ugly to maintain their 100 per cent start in the Accounts League Premier.

A depleted AFC Flixton edged home 3-1 thanks to goals from Leor Sidle, Ashley Reece and Richard Walker.

Joint-manager Delmonte said: "With six regulars missing this was always going to be a tough test.

"We rode our luck at times and, for the first time this season, we were dominated for long periods.

"But we hung in there and we were delighted to come through this test."
