Yossi Benayoun is set for a recall to the Israeli national side after a superb performance for QPR on Saturday.
He scored his third goal for Rangers in the match against Nottingham Forest, and had several assists in the 5-2 victory to virtually assure them a Championship play-off place.
He said: "It's great to be playing again and part of a winning team. I feel excellent and I’m trying to prove myself at every opportunity."
Benayoun, 34 next month, is now almost certain to be recalled by Israel manager Eli Guttman for the June friendly against Honduras when he will make a record 95th appearance.
Guttman resisted pressure from the Israel FA to let Benayoun break the record in the meaningless friendly against Slovakia last month on the grounds that he was not playing regularly for his team.
