Mitch Young takes his men to Hackney Marshes – which he describes as the home of grass-roots football - on Sunday for a meeting with Albion Manor of the Harrow Sunday Challenge League.
FC Team have made a solid start in the MSFL, but on Sunday they will be targeting their first win of the season as they look to book their place in the next round of the LFA Cup.
Summer signing Mark Harris impressed for FC Team last Sunday in the 2-2 draw against Norstar, with Jon Breger netting his second goal of the season.
But Young believes Sunday pose a different challenge all together. He told JC Sport: “This is a cup full of great Premier Division sides so whoever you play will be difficult.
"That said, we are unbeaten this season and going into a cup game being hard to beat is a good thing.
"I am hoping our strikers can get some goals, in particular I am looking for Richard Salmon to get off the mark.
"The game will be played at the home of grass roots football Hackney Marshes so we go there hoping to perform and progress to round two.
"Make no mistake our expectations are high this season and I am expecting a strong performance from my team."
