PETER MORRISON TROPHY (SOUTHERN SECTION) ROUND ONE
SOUTHGATE HARMEN B 13 BOCA JEWNIORS 2

Southgate Harmen put their name in the hat for the next round with an emphatic victory against fourth division minnow Boca.

Harmen amazingly fell behind with Boca's only attack of the first half when a long ball was lobbed over the harmen keeper by the Boca striker.

The home side responded well to level it up through one of the stand-out player of the first half the "Teapot" Ilan Ben-Zion. Ben-Zion, who had tormented the Boca left back all game, picked the ball up on the right hand side, beat his man before lashing the ball home from just outside the area.

Within two minutes Harmen were in front when the skipper Bradley Fox rose above everyone to power home a header.

Harmen kicked on and the scene was now set for centre back and man-of-the-match Ben Rosenblatt to open his account with a Frank Lampard-style deflection from a free-kick sending the keeper the wrong way.

The two Daniels - Daniel Amram and Daniel Sinai then grabbed one each allowing Harmen to go in at the break 5-1 up.

Harmen stepped it up in the second half and following conceding from a set-piece, played the entire second half on the edge of the Boca penalty area with Josh Sasto the only player at the back as players continued to bomb forward.

Soon it was time for Rosenblatt to add his second of the day with a cracking strike from just outside the right hand side of the penalty area.

Amram then waltzed through the defence and added his second and of the game. Amram was in fine form and following being kept out by a succession of fine saves by the Boca keeper and one off the line decided to slip in his partner in crime Doron Hershkorn.

Amram's sparkling form led to another couple of chances allowing Richard Starr and Nick Kershberg to get in on the act with thoroughly deserved goals.

Hershkorn, who didn't want to be outdone by his strike partner Amram nipped in to get his second.

Rosenblatt then surged forward from the back to lashed home the goal of the day from 30 yards to complete the unlikeliest of Hatricks and send the one Harmen fan Josh Brooks wild!

Hershkorn was again not to be outdone and finished off a nice move to complete his hat-trick and seal a comprehensive win.

Delighted Harmen B manager Marc Cohen told JC Sport: "I have to say we played well today and it was nice to see our boys taking their chances.

"Full credit to Boca who never let their heads drop and their keeper made a number of fantastic saves."
