Maccabi Haifa can clinch back-to-back Ligat Ha'al titles with an away victory against Bnei Yehuda tomorrow.
But failure to win could hand the title to Hapoel Tel Aviv who travel to Betar Jerusalem, trailing Maccabi by two points but with a better goal difference.
Hapoel surrendered their advantage over the long-time leaders after playing out a goalless draw against Maccabi Tel Aviv at the weekend. Haifa took advantage with an 86th minute winner from defender Dekel Keinan earning the Greens a 2-1 victory at Betar.
At the bottom, John Gregory's Maccabi Ahi Nazareth were relegated along with Hapoel Ra'anana after losing to Ra'anana 2-0. The former Aston Villa boss has been linked with the vacant managerial post at Betar.
