Julia Glushko and Shahar Peer bowed out in the first round of the Ladies Singles at Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Competing in the main draw for the first time, Glushko was ultimately outclassed by last year's runner-up Sabine Lisicki.
The Israeli went down 6-2, 6-1 in just under an hour on Centre Court.
There was also disappointment for compatriot Shahar Peer. She went down to Caroline Wozniacki, losing the second set 6-0 in a match that carried over two days due to rain.
Dudi Sela capped a poor day for Israel all-round as he tumbled out of the Men's Singles in straight sets against Mikhail Kukushkin.
Sela gave a battling performance on Court 9, but went down 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in less than two hours.
