PETER MORRISON TROPHY SEMI-FINAL
BRADY MACCABI A 5 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 1
A perfect hat-trick from JOSH GORDON helped Brady marched into the Morrison final after destroying Redbridge at Fairlop.
Further strikes from Marc Lazare and Alex Hershman completed the rout to set up a final against South Manchester on April 28.
Brady started the game the better and created a number of half chances before Gordon scored the first of his three with a great header from a Brad Sharp corner.
The second goal 10 minutes later was virtually a carbon copy of the first, but this time Gordon slotted home with his left shin after a good spell in which Brady had hit the post in between goals with a Jonathan Green header.
Redbridge got back into it when they scored a penalty after Jordan Nathan was harshly adjudged to have handled inside the box.
The second half stated in the same fashion with Brady on the front foot and they scored the all-important third goal when Gordon completed his hat-trick with a right foot volley.
This seemed to knock the stuffing out of Redbridge and Brady scored a fourth through Lazare when he smashed home from the left-hand side of the box.
And it was left to Hershman to finish the job by slotting home from the edge of the box.
Brady boss Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "We fully deserved this win as we played them off the park today - we never let them settle and controlled the game for 90 minutes, and that showed with our keeper not having to make any real saves.
"The boys can now look forward to a great day at the final. I must give credit to Josh Rosenfeld who wishes to stay out of the limelight but is very much the reason we are in the final."
Redbridge manager Eilon Kennet told JC Sport: "Without taking anything away from Brady, we were always going to struggle without five regular first choice players - Adam Hakimi, Brad Frankel, Steve Gervertz, Danny Sugarman and Ben Solosi.
"Brady were just too strong for our makeshift side, especially at corners and set pieces. We also ending up with players playing out of position which didn't help either.
"Full marks to Brady who took full advantage and got a memorable result."
