Stuart Delmonte watched AFC Flixton march on in the Accountants League Premier Division and admitted: “We were off our game.”

AFC Flixton cruised home thanks to a penalty from Stephen Peck and Alex Singer. Adam Stephens sealed the win for the table-toppers in the second-half.

Flixton joint-manager Stuart Delmonte said: “We were hit and miss throughout. They are a big side who stopped us playing. But we couldn’t get going.

"The important thing is that we won and kept another clean sheet. It’s not a bad trait to have.

"And to hear Arsenal had won in a weekend where so many Premier League teams were knocked out of the FA Cup topped off my day."
